Brandy at Pacific Fitness-weren’t able to work out schedule to partner with
Melon Festival this year—will work on it for next year.

The Blue
Jean Ball was a great success due to all of the sponsors who stepped up. They were able to make a substantial
contribution to the City of Winston for the Parks and we are looking forward to
next year.
Core
Project-All
properties have been purchased and are being cleaned up. The upstairs apartments should be ready for
rental by the end of the year. Cheetah
Junction is almost ready now. The mobile
home park will also have space available for RVs.
The Core
Project will be having a float in the parade and a booth at the Melon Festival.
Go Team will
also have a booth and we still have openings for several time slots.
Road Mapping Process- Jacob has the
information that has been received and will be working on a map of the outcomes
of what people would like to see in Winston and goals to getting there for the
City of Winston Goal Setting meeting in January.
Other
Sandra Thorn
will have a booth at the Melon Festival to discuss her campaign for mayor of
Winston and some of the ideas that she has to improve Winston. She will also have voter registration forms
Jeremy will
get a copy of the Heart and Soul Guide for Wayne
